Против активистов «Правого сектора», которые угрожали закарпатским депутатам, спевшим гимн Венгрии, открыто дело. Об этом заявил замминистра внутренних дел Арсена Авакова, Антон Геращенко, в эфире канала «Украина 24».
«После того, как на заседании одного из сельских советов на Закарпатье этнические венгры спели после гимна Украины гимн Венгрии, началось раздувание и призывы к этнической ненависти к венгерскому меньшинству на Закарпатье. Это недопустимо, Конституция Украины говорит о том, что все граждане Украины равны вне зависимости от национальности.
Уголовный кодекс, статья 161, предусматривает уголовную ответственность за нарушение равноправия граждан в зависимости от их расовой и национальной принадлежности, а за призывы к насилию предусматривает до 5 лет заключения. Сейчас мы открыли дело по ст. 161 и ищем того молодого человека, который либо как провокатор, либо по своим убеждениям решил нарушить Уголовный кодекс», — сказал он.
По словам Геращенко, в пении гимна другой страны нет преступления.
«По поводу пения гимна Венгрии на территории Украины. Украинцы, которые живут в Канаде, США, Австралии также часто поют гимн Украины, и никто не привлекает за это к ответственности. Это нормально, когда какая-то этническая группа поет национальные песни и даже национальный гимн», — сказал он.
Напомним, в сети появилось видео, на котором депутаты Сюртовской ОТГ вместе с главой общины после присяги пели венгерский гимн. После этого был обнародован видеоролик, на котором неизвестный угрожал украинцам венгерского происхождения.
